White Elephant Bunco

Every month, a group of friends and I get together to play Bunco. What?!!? You've never heard of Bunco. You have got to find a group and get to playing. It is a hoot, and the best part...you might just win some money! We all like to get money, right? So, go find you a Bunco group...pronto!

We usually like to choose some sort of theme, and we always have a blast. Well, the theme for January is a White Elephant exchange. So, I've been busy trying to decide what I'll take to the exchange. I've got a few ideas up my sleeve, but I can't reveal them here (some of my friends just might check my blog). The big day is this Saturday, so I don't have much time left to make my final decision.

We're going to play it a bit differently, too. While we can all choose a wrapped gift, no one can unwrap their gift until all the exchanging has taken place. So, while you might think you've got a nice wrapped bottle of wine...well, it might just be a bottle of water. LOL! Sounds like fun, huh?

So, send me your best white elephant experiences. What did you get? What did you give? What's the funniest you've seen? I look forward to reading your responses!

Happy Tuesday to all of you!

I've been playing Bunco with my mom since I was little. We've never done White Elephant Bunco but she does go to a WE party every year and has come home with some doozies. Some of which are: A leg lamp, a singing fish and pervy sex toys (which completely embarrassed her).

I've heard of the game, but never had the chance to play it. Sounds like so much fun. Hope you get a good gift on Saturday. Thanks for stopping by.

LOL Sounds like fun.

In our group of friends, there has been a Homer Simpson Chia pet head going around for a few years. Hubby and I have it right now, just waiting to pass it on! :0P

Thanks for stopping by. =)

We had a White Elephant game at a Christmas party one year there were some crazy stuff. There was normal stuff like Candles, bottles of wine, Kitchen doo dads ect but then some people brought weird stuff like a old chemical warfare suit, an old t-shirt, fake dog doo,
The problem with a White Elephant exchange is if you don't set down some rules there are going to be hurt feeling. One of the people who brought a nice bottle of wine, ended up with the old T-Shirt and wasn't very happy.

April -- yeah, we've got to set up some rules. I think most of the ppl will bring gifts they don't want or are gag gifts. I hope no one brings a nice gift and expects one in return...LOL! I'm still trying to decide...
