After being considered a girl one too many times, we knew it was time for Micah monkey to get his first haircut. With Caleb, we wasted no time...he got his first cut the week he turned one. But -- Micah...it was different with him. It took soooo long for his cute litle curls to come in that we wanted to admire them as long as we could.
Today we took him to Ms. Tracy to get his haircut. Ms. Tracy cuts daddy and Caleb's hair, too. So, she's familiar with the Childress boys. :) Micah did soooo good. He didn't cry at all. He looks so much like Caleb did at his age now. I'll have to try to find pictures of Caleb after his 1st haircut. Anyway, here are some pics of our big boy...

How exciting. I hope you saved a lock (I still have mine from my first haircut!)
Was it hard to see him with his "big boy" hair??? My son only got a little bit cut and I was kind of sad afterward!!
Awww...did they give you a my first hair cut certificate?
Yep, we got a lock of his hair, and he also got a first haircut certificate. :) The certificate actually has a cut-out where the lock of hair (in a baggie) is attached. Too cute...
Aw... he looks like such a little man now. I hope you kept a few of the curls. BB is past due for another haircut, but I just can't bring myself to do it yet.
I was sad to see my boys hair cut for the first time. That was many years ago and we still argue about how he gets his hair cut. lol
He looks like such a big boy now. Adorable!
We have that spinning Zebra. My son loved his.
Cute first haircut! :) My son Jaden had his first haircut too a few weeks ago and he's already two years old. Yup, we waited too long, lol.
Please head on over Hip Mama's Place for the fun and fab Mother's Day Giveaway Event. Thanks so much!

Aww! I always hated getting the "curls" cut off. They don't seem like babies anymore.
He looks adorable!
How sweet. Hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day.

The twins really need haircuts. Paul wants to get them done this weekend (first birthday is the week after). I don't want to cut them at all. Once they get their first haircut -- they are not babies anymore...
