Well, like I mentioned yesterday, we started FIRST GRADE today at Childress Academy. Caleb has been eagerly anticipating the day for a while now, and he was still all smiles this morning when we started. :) So, that's a GREAT thing!
He did a good job, and it didn't take us nearly as long as I thought it would. But -- today was just the first day. I'm sure we'll have our fair share of longer days.
But my day seemed so long since I was up at the butt crack of dawn this morning to do cardio.
We've got lots of fun things planned for this summer in addition to our homeschooling each day. We're going to visit Wild Animal Safari on Wednesday with some friends, and Caleb is super excited. I'm leaving Micah with Grandma for that one...
I'm not willing to deal with him honestlyI don't think he'd get much out of it.
Caleb also has two summer camps -- Don't Bug Me and Culinary Camp that he'll attend. He's also gearing up for some swim lessons. We're using a private teacher this year, and we're super excited.
So, we're enjoying the start of the school year, and we're looking forward to sharing our adventures with you. So, join us as we tackle another year of learning,
screaming, growing, and bonding at Childress Academy. Fun is sure to be had so stick around! :)
***Sidenote -- is it me or is Google Chrome so different when it comes to typing up blog posts. I'm finding that my links are now underlined, and I can't do anything with my pictures. Is this normal with Google Chrome (I just downloaded it yesterday) or is Blogger acting all goofy on me? Anyone know????***

I am glad he had a good first day of school, those are good or bad memories.
I use Google Chrome and am doing o.k. It took me a while to get used to it, I would use both Internet Explorer and Google, to see which one I liked best. I am now using Google most of the time.

I don't have any problems with Google Chrome and Blogger. I wonder if it's something in the settings. I've been using it for so long so I don't remember if I had to do anything different.
Brings back memories when my kids had to wear the khaki and red :)
congratulations!
I have never heard of Google Chrome and I wish my links would underline. I always underline them but then I post and the line is gone!
