Celebrating Amelia Earhart

A few weeks ago, we met up with our homeschool friends to celebrate Amelia Earhart and all of her accomplishments.  We met at the Museum of Aviation, and we began our activities by forming a human timeline of her life.  After that, we were dismissed to go inside the museum for a scavenger hunt.  Once we had wandered the museum and found the answers, we went back outside to see how we had done.  Then, all of the children made paper airplanes and earned little certificates based on their flying skills.  Everyone had a blast, and I know my boys truly enjoyed themselves.
