Most of you know that we have chosen to school year-round, so that means we get back to school in June. We do this for many reasons, but the main one being it allows us a 4-day week, and we have plenty of time to make-up days should life happen.
Our 2011-2012 school year started on June 6th, and both boys were eager to get to schooling. We’ve finished our first week, and it’s gone really well. I’ll continue to post weekly updates, so be sure to look for those each week. Until then, here are some pictures of the boys on the first day of school.

Congrats on getting off to a good start. We school year round too, four days a week, but we do not finish up this year until the end of the month. We will take a week off and then start back at with third and first grade as well as throwing some PreK 3 into the mix. Oh, I just made myself nervous.

Congratulations on a new year! We don't school year round, however, this year my eldest son has chosen to continue lightly.
With my younger son, we school lightly on math, but that is only because he forgets so quickly!
