Corn Huskers

Today we went over to Laura's house to have a Memorial Day BBQ. Before we got started, Laura decided to let the kiddos have fun husking the ears of corn. They had so much fun, but Hunter got a bit frustrated when it took to long to get to the actual corn. But -- they were all successful in the end. We enjoyed a yummy lunch of steak and chicken kabobs along with grilled veggies, corn on the cob, steamed broccoli, and a funfetti cake to top it all off. It was all very yummy thanks to Brian's grilling expertise. The kids had lots of fun just playing with the water hose and the slip 'n slide. Here are a few pictures of them husking the corn.
