Menu Plan November 16-22, 2014

Here’s what’s cooking at our house this week…
Sunday – Meatloaf, roasted sweet potatoes, veggies
Monday – Greek Pastitsio (pulled from the freezer), veggies
Tuesday – Breakfast for Dinner
Wednesday – Baked Fish, Rice, Veggies
Thursday – YOYO
Friday – YOYO
Saturday – Fried Noodles and Eggs
What’s cooking at your house?  I did my shopping on Thursday for the next three weeks…so I’m hoping to avoid any major grocery shopping until after the Thanksgiving holiday.  We are hosting Thanksgiving at our house for my parents and youngest brother…I’m looking forward to being able to cook a big family feast.  Last year we spent the holiday alone…it was fun, but it just wasn’t the same.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving at your home?  What’s on the menu?

Menu Plan November 9-15, 2014

Here’s what’s cooking at our house this week..

Monday – Brown Sugar Spiced Baked Chicken, Corn Casserole, Veggies
Tuesday – Ground Beef and Mushrooms over Rice, Salad
Wednesday – Frikadellen, Pasta, Veggies

I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this, but I’m trying to only do major grocery shopping twice a month.  This has really helped me to use up what’s in my pantry.  I try to plan my meals based on what’s available in order to avoid a quick run to the store.  Granted, I still have to go and grab salad fixings every week for Brian’s work lunches.  But – life is easier and more pleasant when Walmart can be avoided.  LOL!  How often do YOU grocery shop?  Do you go every week, every two weeks, once a month?
