We are back from the beach, and it's back to reality! LOL! Why is it that you feel like you need a vacation from your vacation? Maybe it's all the crap that awaits you when you get home...LOL! Let's see...there's unpacking, laundry, uploading the pictures, laundry, posting on the blog about the vacay, laundry, trying to catch up on all the blogs you follow, laundry...and did I say LAUNDRY????
We had a great time at Myrtle Beach, SC with Omi and Opa. My college buddy and one of my closest and dearest friends, Jennifer, came up on Tuesday to spend a few days. We had such a good time playing "catch-up" and hanging out.
I will do a play-by-play post (or two or three) at some point, but I'm too deliriously tired and overwhelmed right now to do that. So, just know that we are back. I'm slowly getting caught up on my blog reading...then I hope to get back to commenting regularly. It just takes soooo long to play catch-up. So, give me some time.
Until then...stay tuned for some vacay posts soon. :)

You repeated laundry several times and that is exactly what I think of almost immediately after walking in the door. First I breathe a sigh of relief and then I look around at all of the luggage and crap that everyone else just threw on the floor before they took off to their rooms.
Sound familiar?
In any case, WELCOME HOME!!!
Welcome back! I hear you about the "vacation from your vacation"!! Too true... :-)
My grandparents hung a sign up in our family beach house that still hangs on the wall to this day. It reads...
"A vacation consists of 2 weeks
which are 2 short and leaves you
2 tired 2 return home and 2 broke not 2!"
Or something like that... I'm quoting it from memory, but I'll be sure to read it again next week when I am there and tell you if I'm right or not!
What's more work--packing or unpacking?? I hate all that laundry when you get home too. Ugh.
