I am orig...Hi, Sherrie! <br />Your harvest looks great!<br />I am originally from Ontario, where gardening never fails, due to the dark, rich soil. In GA, it's a different story. We started a small garden, just to test. My hubby added lime and some other interesting things to help the soil along. It is not a raised bed. He simply tilled the soil in the ground. We have tomatoes, butternut squash, corn, and potatoes. No harvest yet, but it is coming along nicely (especially since we have had so much rain!). I have never planted lettuce, so no advice there. I hate planting brocolli, as it is hard to keep the bugs away. I'll keep you posted!
