A Little Bit of Everything...

Monday, we met up with some of our friends and we headed up to Dauset Trails and High Falls Water Park. We started the morning by hiking the trails and looking at all of the animals. Then, we let the kids have a snack. After snack time, we headed over to the water park. The kids (and adults) had a BLAST! It was just the right size for our age group of kids. We were able to let them pretty much have some freedom while the mommies all sat and talked. Caleb really enjoyed himself, and we look forward to visiting another water park while vacationing at Myrtle Beach. Here are some pictures from the trails...I didn't take my camera into the water park...didn't want to chance it. :)

Great group of kids...Marissa, Aiden, Norah, Peyton, Caleb, Davis, Macy, and Alexis.

Caleb...he didn't know I was snapping this shot.

Look at that cute river otter...I just LOVE otters.

Bald eagle.

Cougar.

Turtles.

All of the kids again...Davis, Peyton, Norah, Aiden, Marissa, Caleb, Macy, and Alexis.

Peyton and Caleb

Caleb insisted on having a growl picture.

Last night, Caleb had his t-ball party for the end of the season. We all met up at Burger King in Byron. I took the camera, but I left the memory card in the laptop at home. Oh well. So, I snapped a picture of Caleb with his trophy once we got home. Here's our all-star T-ball player. :)

Tomorrow morning, we are heading up and over to Mrytle Beach, SC. We went last year with Brian's best friend, Dave, and his family. It was such a good time, so we decided to head back again this year. Omi and Opa are going to meet us there on Saturday and stay the week with us. My best friend from college, Jennifer, is coming up on Tuesday to spend a few days with us as well. We are so excited, and we cannot wait to make some very special family memories. There will be some of this, this, this, this, this, and this. But I can wholeheartedly assure you...there will NOT be any of this again. Nope...not going to allow it...never, never, NEVER!!!!!

Caleb will also celebrate his 6th birthday on Sunday, July 5th. So, we're going to the Dixie Stampede show that night. I'm sure he'll have a blast, and we'll also enjoy some cake. :)

With that all said, I don't know how much posting I'll get done. I'm not going to schedule any posts, but if I have some down time, I'm sure I'll start posting our daily pictures. So, look for those...

I hope you all have a wonderful 4th of July and celebrate the freedom we have as Americans. And a HUGE thank you to all of the military men and women who work so hard to help us keep that freedom. May God bless you and your families daily!

That sounds like lots of fun. You had quite a bunch with you.

We used to have a condo in Myrtle Beach. It's lovely there! (even if you don't golf)
