All Tuckered Out, Skating, and Up To No Good...

Alright, alright...I hear you. I know that you all have been
beating your computers sillygoing crazy wondering why I haven't been posting lately. Well, I wish I had good reasons...LOL! I guess we've just been super, super busy enjoying the summer. We've been having lots of playdates with our friends, attending summer camp, and just having fun. So, without further ado...let me catch you up.

As these pictures will prove, Micah is into everything. It's like he has just turned on his light bulb of knowledge, and he can figure stuff out. He's all about getting into the tupperware cabinet, playing with his brother's toys, and getting into mommy and daddy's stuff. He's trying to talk up a storm, too. His vocabulary is really improving, and he's starting to copy what we say. So, it's time for mommy and daddy to
quit talking like sailorsmind our words around the little guy.

Caleb is really turning into quite the little man. He's doing super well in first grade, and he has improved with his reading tremendously. He has had quite a busy summer, but we're nearing the end of all of our fun. He attended two summer camps..."Don't Bug Me!" and "Culinary Camp." They kept him busy, and he seemed to enjoy both of them. He also took a week of swim lessons, and he's stayed busy having playdates with his friends. We have one more day of fun, and then it's back to our normal routine.

Brian and I are both busy trying to keep up with these two. They keep us on our toes, but it sure is a lot of fun. We wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world. God has richly blessed our family, and we are so thankful.

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks...ENJOY!

Micah was so tired from all of his playing that he gathered up the blankets and took a nap on the living room floor. Isn't he such a cute little boy? Now...if only I could break him of sucking that darn thumb!

This is the mess Micah made in the kitchen. He's having a good ol' time playing with mommy's plastic storage containers.

How could you ever be mad at that cute face???

This is Caleb skating the other day...now, if only mommy could figure out how to take a GOOD picture at the skating rink. LOL! It's so dark that I can't get a good one for anything.

This is Micah making another mess in the kitchen. This time, he decided to get in the cabinet.

Look...it's the headless baby. :)

Sitting in the cabinet enjoying himself. Yes, mommy and daddy have since fixed the child-proof lock on this cabinet. And -- we gave Micah a new cabinet that is all his. It's the same one Caleb had when we first moved into this house. So, now he can make a much smaller mess. :)

I love how he tucked his chubby little legs under him when he fell asleep.

My kids loved those kinds of cupboards too!
