Homeschool Week 34 in Review

Gosh...has it really been nearly two weeks since I updated our homeschool adventures? Oh well, life happens, and you know what...we tend to enjoy it! :)

Here's how our 34th week panned out:

Beginnings: The theme for the week was It's Fall. We added "-ail", "-ain", "-ay", "-eat", "-ea", "-ee", and "eed" to our word families. "They" was our service word for the week. Our story was Train Ride.

Math: We talked about measurement again, focusing on the centimeter and liquid measurements. Caleb does really well with math...maybe he gets that from us. :)

Bible: We added questions 38-39 to our First Catechism study. Our Bible verse for the week was John 14:23a.

Extra Stuff: Hmmm...well, we had some snow here in GA which is an oddity, so we really enjoyed that. We also celebrated Micah's first birthday and planted our first ever garden. Caleb also started co-op classes, and he had a great time.

Join us next week as we throw on our jackets and talk about winter. YIPPEE!!!

Hey you! Yes, you...the one staring at the computer screen. I know you have something to say, so go ahead...just write what's on your mind. :) We all know that writing is good for the soul, and what better way than to leave a comment?!!? I promise to do my best to return the favor. :)
