Homeschool Week 27 In Review

We worked hard and finished up another week last week. Here's what Caleb learned:

Beginnings: Our theme for the week was Oceans. So, of course we learned about different ocean animals. The "-ash" and "-ish" word families were added to our list. Caleb also learned the "sh" and "ch" sounds. This was quite difficult with his speech issues, but he did really well, and he's slowly distinguishing them. The word "give" was added to our service words. Our story for the week was Big Clam.

Math: We finished up our review of all the #s up to 100. We reviewed some of the skills we've learned thus far (time, measurement, addition, etc).

Bible: Caleb continued to review First Catechism questions 1-28. He's really getting them down, and we're so proud of him. He also reviewed his Bible verses.

As always, thanks for following our journey!

Wow, lots of learning fun. How old is your little one? We are in the process of learning letter sounds, letters, and numbers. When you get a chance stop by my place. I have an award for you.

Thanks Michelle. I've got a 5 1/2 year old son, and I've got a 10 month old son. So, we're doing Kindergarten work. Lots and lots of fun! LOL!

Hey you! Yes, you...the one staring at the computer screen. I know you have something to say, so go ahead...just write what's on your mind. :) We all know that writing is good for the soul, and what better way than to leave a comment?!!? I promise to do my best to return the favor. :)
